Bobbie Kuo 郭禎容

Born in Taiwan. Graduated from Brunel University London in MA Contemporary Performance Making. Classical educated ballerina who trained at Melbourne Dance Theatre Australia and Jennifer Muller Scholarship Program New York.
Bobbie is a musical, show director, choreographer, casting director, performing artist and interdisciplinary creator working in the field of musical theatre, show, immersive theatre, dance films and media performance. Trained from a variety of backgrounds in performance making, classical ballet, contemporary, Jazz, Tap and taught each of these disciplines around the world.
Her work investigates the superimposition of body, space, and media, and the flow of movement between them. She often finds inspiration for her creative works in the integration of dance with voice, visual art, and other fields. Her works comprise various different media and styles, conveying her creative voice through elements of autobiography, psychology, character portraits, contrasts, life energy, and the aesthetics of space.
Musical credits include: Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 Shanghai. The Phantom of The Opera、CATS 、Disney’s Beauty and The Beast、Little Shop of Horrors、Rock of Ages and Next to Normal mandarin production.

音樂劇編舞、演員選角、動作藝術指導、舞者、 跨域創作者。
畢業於英國倫敦 Brunel University London 當代表演藝術創作碩士，澳洲 Box Hill Institute 舞蹈教學與管理學位。擁有超過15年的國際性劇場、娛樂製作及表演藝術相關工作經驗，熱衷於劇場創作、娛樂相關表演等音樂劇編創，動作藝術指導，演員訓練(成人/兒童)，選角及國際製作試鏡招募。
曾獲 2015、2019 歐洲國際藝術雜誌 ART HABENS 傑出當代舞蹈劇場藝術家。
2018 獲得國藝會扶植青年藝術發展創作計畫，作品以「顛覆一般大眾舞蹈美學」、「牽動觀眾情緒感官」獨特的創作理念，從繪畫、裝置影像藝術、舞蹈劇場及音樂劇等多元領域中。現今仍持續創作及累積不同的創作靈感議題，並擅長以想像力、肢體、緊張與窒息感等表現作為題材風格，主要包含極簡主義，超現實人物，與重複; 涵蓋自傳式、人物、心理、反差與空間美學等不同元素作為靈感來源。
音樂劇代表作: 法國音樂劇放牛班的春天、歌劇魅影中文版、迪士尼美女與野獸、近乎正常、音樂劇 貓、Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 大彗星、謀殺歌謠、搖滾年代、瘋狂花店等音樂劇以及沈境劇場、舞蹈電影、當代劇場編創。
